Amy Meredith Poehler was born on September 16, 1971 in Newton, Massachusetts. She attended Boston College where she graduated in 1993. She then moved to Chicago, Illinois to study improv at The Second City and ImprovOlympic. After moving to New York, she became a member of the improvisational comedy troupe Upright Citizens Brigade.
She gained mainstream recognition when she became a cast member of Saturday Night Live in 2001, which lasted until 2008. She also became known for her work in the films Mean Girls, Baby Mama, and Spring Breakdown, among others. Since 2009, she has starred as Leslie Knope in the sitcom Parks and Recreation.
Has Amy Poehler had Plastic Surgery?
The Saturday Night Live star may be in her early 40s but she surely knows how to take care of herself to look fabulous. She and pal Tina Fey sparked rumors of seeking cosmetic help before they stole the show as hosts of the 70th Golden Globe Awards in 2013. According to some reports, Poehler uses Botox and possibly uses Restylane in her lips as well. Experts think that the Baby Mama actress is one of those women in Hollywood who manages to look naturally gorgeous while using cosmetic enhancements.
It’s because she knows the right amount of stuff that works for her. Small doses of injectables still work when used properly and still gives the face the natural movements that it needs. Because of her prudence in her usage of such enhancements, the celebrity not only catches people’s attention by her comedic talent but by also having a smooth, younger-looking face.
