Elle Macpherson was born on March 29, 1964 in Killara, Sydney. She attended the University of Sydney where she briefly studied law. Before she entered the university, she went to the US to model and eventually appeared on covers of Cosmopolitan, Elle, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue.
She rose to fame when Time magazine featured her on the cover with a feature entitled “The Big Elle” and appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated five times leading to her nickname “The Body”. She has appeared in the films Jane Eyre and Batman & Robin, as well as played a recurring part in Friends.
Has Elle Macpherson had Plastic Surgery?
Elle Macpherson can still secure her title as The Body as the Australian beauty certainly looks at her best at age 50. But this achievement doesn’t go unnoticed as some people name plastic surgery as behind Macpherson’s great looking appearance despite her age. Rumor has it that the model has had breast implants based on her previous photographs showing her smaller cup size. Macpherson brushed off the rumors saying that her breasts are natural as they are. She has also been rumored of having Botox, rhinoplasty and lip injections.
However, in an interview with Daily Mail in 2008, she said she hasn’t had plastic surgery and that she relied on doing the natural stuff to maintain her good looks. She shared the importance of keeping her skin hydrated at all times, which contributes to her overall radiance. In an interview with Elle UK in 2011, she also shared her scrubbing habits, which she also considers an important part of her beauty regimen.
