Gisele Caroline Bündchen was born on July 20, 1980 in Três de Maio, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. At age 13, she took a modeling course and was discovered the following year by Elite modeling agency in São Paulo. She was then chosen to join the Elite Look of the Year where she finished fourth.
She moved to São Paulo to begin modeling. When she was 16, she moved to New York City where she had her break at Fashion Week. She has since appeared on prominent magazines like TIME, Vanity Fair, Forbes, Newsweek, and many others. She gained further fame when she became a Victoria’s Secret Angel.
Has Gisele Bündchen had Plastic Surgery?
The Brazilian beauty has found herself a tremendous success in her craft and is even credited with ending the “heroin chic” era of modeling, courtesy of her healthy but slender appearance. But as she found greater success not only in modeling but in her other ventures, Bündchen also found herself in the middle of plastic surgery rumors as people began to suspect her of going under the knife. Rumor has it that the model/actress wasn’t that happy about herself contrary to her confidence on the runway as she reportedly has opted for a rhinoplasty procedure.
According to such reports, Bündchen’s German descent gave her a strong or masculine nose, which was huge all the way up to the bridge with a tiny bump below her eyes. Her strong nose, unique in its own way, was allegedly considered by the model as an unpleasant part of her face, prompting her to decide to have it changed. After the rumored surgery, the bridge of her nose was slimmed down and the tip was straightened out, giving her a more refined and feminine look.
