Amethyst Amelia Kelly, popularly known as Iggy Azalea, was born on June 7, 1990 in Sydney, Australia. When she was 16, she traveled to the United States to pursue a career in hip hop. After some years, she released her debut mixed tape called Ignorant Art with the singles “Pu$$y” and “Two Times”. The accompanying music videos of the said singles were noticed online, earning her recognition.
Her long-awaited debut album, The New Classic, then came out in 2014. This generated the hit songs “Work”, “Bounce”, “Change Your Life”, “Fancy” and “Black Widow”, with “Fancy” being an international sensation. She has also made successful collaborations with such artists as Ariana Grande in “Problem”, Jennifer Lopez in “Booty”, ad Britney Spears in “Pretty Girls”.
Has Iggy Azalea had Plastic Surgery?
The 25-year-old Australian rapper has recently revealed in an interview with Vogue in March 2015 about undergoing a breast augmentation. Discussing about her body shape, Azalea stated: “I did change something: Four months ago, I got bigger boobs! I’d thought about it my entire life.” She admitted that part of her deciding to finally have plastic surgery was because she was sick of sewing padding into her stage costumes, which are often sexy and provocative.
She also confessed that she didn’t want to go public about going under the knife as she didn’t want other girls to feel insecure about their bodies, but resolved to just telling the truth as keeping secrets is not her thing. Though she has already admitted to having a boob job, other sources are claiming that the hip hop star may have done more than that as she’s also suspected of having a rhinoplasty procedure. The said nose surgery could explain why Azalea’s face is looking different these days compared to when she was just starting out. The rapper, however, hasn’t addressed the rumors about her alleged nose job yet.
