Jaime Elizabeth Pressly was born on July 30, 1977 in Kinston, North Carolina. She studied gymnastics and dancing for 11 years and began her career as a model, first appearing on the cover of Teen Magazine. She began her film career in 1997’s Poison Ivy: The New Seduction.
She has since starred in a number of movies before gaining recognition in 2001’s Not Another Teen Movie. From 2005 to 2009, she became known as Joy Turner in the TV series My Name Is Earl, which earned her an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
