Jami Beth Gertz was born on October 28, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois. Her acting career started when she was discovered in a nationwide talent search by TV writer and producer Norman Lear. After making her film debut in 1981’s Endless Love, she gained recognition on television for her role as Muffy Tepperman in the TV series Square Pegs.
She then became known for her film roles in Sixteen Candles, Crossroads, The Lost Boys, Less Than Zero and Quicksilver. From 2002 to 2006, she played Judy Miller in Still Standing. She recently starred as Debbie Weaver in the comedy show The Neighbors.
Has Jami Gertz had Plastic Surgery?
Mostly playing supporting roles on film and some lead roles on television, 48-year-old actress has established herself as a well-known celebrity. She’s no stranger to plastic surgery rumors, either, as she has been reported to having a surgical enhancement. Now in her late 40s, signs of aging have surely kicked in and because she still is active on the acting scene, Gertz may have done something cosmetically to restore her youthful appearance so she could continue looking great on the screen.
According to some reports, the Square Pegs actress has had an eye surgery. This is because observers noticed that there’s less movement in her face and her eyes tilt upward recently, which was not the case before. The transformation on her face, particularly her eyes, has led some to speculate that the possibility of her undergoing an invasive procedure may be high.
