Jennifer Grey was born on March 26, 1960 in New York. Her acting career started with her debut in the 1984 feature Reckless, followed by The Cotton Club. Two years later, she gained wider fame for her role in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
She achieved international stardom for her portrayal of Frances “Baby” Houseman in 1987’s Dirty Dancing. She has also starred in other films such as Red Dawn, Bounce, and Ritual. She made her comeback as the winner of Dancing with the Stars’ eleventh season.
Has Jennifer Grey had Plastic Surgery?
Grey underwent two rhinoplasty procedures in the early 1990s. The second nose job was done to rectify the problems that the first procedure had caused. The outcome of the procedures radically changed her appearance that even her close friends failed to recognize her at first.
She recalled the experience, saying: “I went in the operating room a celebrity – and came out anonymous. It was like being in a witness protection program or being invisible.”
Although the procedure didn’t really give her a disastrous look, it negatively affected her career as promising film roles became evasive throughout the years and people only saw her on the small screen with roles in TV shows and TV movies.
