Her modeling career began when she attended a casting call for Elite Model Management and was signed by them. She then signed with IMG Models after moving to New York City.

She first modeled for Garage and Dooney & Bourke. She gained mainstream recognition when she appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2011. She rose to wider fame when she graced its cover the following year. She has appeared in the films Tower Heist, The Three Stooges and The Other Woman.
