Lauren Katherine Conrad was born on February 1, 1986 in Laguna Beach, California. She rose to prominence at age 18 when she starred in the reality television series Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a fashion career but was instead cast in The Hills.
She left The Hills in 2009 and went on to launch her fashion line “LC Lauren Conrad” that same year and “Paper Crown” in 2011, and released the L.A. Candy book trilogy in 2010. She has also appeared in other TV shows such as on Greek, Privileged and America’s Next Top Model.
Has Lauren Conrad had Plastic Surgery?
The 28-year-old reality star is said to be the only one on The Hills who hasn’t had plastic surgery. In the past, she was also rumored to having a nose job, though this didn’t really stick and eventually died down. When asked about her plastic surgery plans in an interview for Access Hollywood, Conrad said: “I don’t think so. But you know what, I prefer a flatter-chested look, that’s just kind of me. I think it’s more of a more of a fashion look. If you look at a lot of high-fashion models and things like that, they’re always you know, a little flatter…”
She then added: “I like the way clothes fit better.” Conrad also thinks that sometimes the need for plastic surgery is caused by growing fame, “It’s hard because you’re in that position where you’re being criticized for everything.” When it comes to other cosmetic enhancements, Conrad was honest enough to say that she wouldn’t know for now as she’s still young but she’s not closing any doors for possibilities, quipping: “Maybe later on.”
