Mädchen Amick was born on December 12, 1970. In 1989, she made her debut in an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. The following year, she gained recognition for her role as Shelly Johnson in the cult television series Twin Peaks. She reprised her role in the movie Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. The rest of the ’90s saw her star in the movies Sleepwalkers, Dream Lover, Love, Cheat & Steal, and Trapped in Paradise.
