In an interview with the Telegraph in 2013, the I Am Sam actress revealed that although she’s not getting any younger, she still chooses to age gracefully and that she’s happy that people consider her appearance great for her age. She also said that she doesn’t need to look younger because she believes it won’t change a thing.

When asked about getting older, she admitted that though there’s a mourning process to that, there’s also a bright side in ageing that’s liberating. The actress also admitted that even though she hasn’t had any plastic surgery and even Botox, she’s open to other possibilities, saying: “I used to think I would never have surgery but it’s really hard to say never. I’m in the ‘never say never’ camp now.”
