Rebecca Romijn was born on November 6, 1972 in Berkeley, California. She studied music at the University of California, Santa Cruz. While attending the university, she became involved in fashion modeling and eventually moved to Paris where she resided for over two years.
After modeling for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Victoria’s Secret and other companies, she secured her first major role as Mystique in 2000’s X-Men. She has since had leading roles in the films Femme Fatale, Rollerball and The Punisher. On television, she became known as Alexis Meade in the hit series Ugly Betty.
Has Rebecca Romijn had Plastic Surgery?
It is hard to believe that the ever gorgeous Romijn from Femme Fatale is now 41. Because of her aging, the actress becomes more vulnerable to plastic surgery rumors as many actresses in their 40s follow the artificial route to conceal nature’s ways of things. Initially, Romijn sparked rumors of cosmetic help after giving birth to twin daughters in December 2008 and gained so much weight.
Because she was able to get back to her original body immediately after giving birth, she was plagued with rumors claiming she sought a plastic surgeon’s help to get back in shape, undergoing a tummy tuck and a breast lift. But experts argued that it would be impossible for the actress to undergo such invasive procedures that soon. They also claimed that Romijn shows no signs of cosmetic operations and it’s more likely that she returned to her original state the natural way.
