Ryan Reynolds was born on October 23, 1976 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He enrolled at the Kwantlen Polytechnic University but eventually left. His professional acting career began in Canada when he appeared in the Canadian teen series Hillside (Fifteen in the US) from 1991 to 1993. He then gained wider recognition among television viewers for playing Michael Bergen in the American show Two Guys and a Girl from 1998 to 2001.
His first film appearance was in 1993’s Ordinary Magic, followed by several TV movies such as 1996’s Sabrina the Teenage Witch. As an adult, he gained notice for his lead role in 2002’s National Lampoon’s Van Wilder. After a series of comedic roles, he played Hannibal King in 2004’s Blade: Trinity and George Lutz in 2005’s The Amityville Horror. Has Ryan Reynolds had Plastic Surgery?
The 38-year-old actor has come a long way from his comedic roots and is now a certified leading man and an action hero. It can also be noticed that his appearance has changed dramatically over the years, which could be caused by age while his consistently good looks could be attributed to healthy lifestyle – and plastic surgery? The thing is, Reynolds himself had admitted to going under the knife, but for corrective surgery. In an interview a few years back, he recounted his experience : “I fainted for the first time in my life. I don’t know what happened.”
He continued: “I was walking through the bathroom in my house, I went down, I smashed my head open, blood poured everywhere, and then I got plastic surgery to fix it. I’m an actor, we’re supposed to (get it) anyway.” When it comes to plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons, it is still early to tell if the Green Lantern actor is considering of undergoing surgical enhancements in the near future. After all, his wife Blake Lively is no stranger to such procedures, after several reports have claimed that the actress has had a nose job and breast implants.
