She studied at Jamnabai Narsee School and American School of Bombay. Following the steps of some of her family members, she entered show business by making her debut in 2010’s Teen Patti.

She made her first starring role the following year in Luv Ka The End. She then made a guest appearance in 2013’s Gori Tere Pyaar Mein before achieving her breakthrough role as Arohi Keshav Shirke in Aashiqui 2 that same year. She has since starred in other films such as Haider and Ek Villain.
