Tom Cruise was born on July 3, 1962 in Syracuse, New York. He began his career at the age of 19 in 1981’s Endless Love. Two years later, he gained wider fame for his first leading role in 1983’s Risky Business, though it was his role in 1986’s Top Gun that established him as an A-list star.
He then achieved international stardom as Ethan Hunt in the Mission: Impossible film series. His other feature films include Born on the Fourth of July (1989), Vanilla Sky (2001), The Last Samurai (2003), War of the Worlds (2005), and Jack Reacher (2012), among others.
Has Tom Cruise had Plastic Surgery?
Cruise faced plastic surgery rumors after his high-profile appearance at the 84th Academy Awards ceremony where he presented the Oscar for Best Picture. Many people instantly attributed the actor’s youthful appearance to plastic surgery as there’s no way a man in his 50’s can look so young naturally.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn is sympathetic to those who are suspecting Cruise of having something done to look distinctively younger than his age. He said: “I don’t think he’s found the Fountain of Youth, but he’s done the next best thing — found a good plastic surgeon. He looks like someone who has had a plethora of the best cosmetic treatments available.”
The doctor particularly thinks that Cruise has had facial plumper injections such as Sculptra. He explained that this treatment is basically injected every six weeks for three to four treatments. Many patients like it as its effect is deliberate that it can go unnoticed.
