Ashlee Nicole Simpson was born on October 3, 1984 in Waco, Texas to homemaker Tina Ann and former psychologist and Baptist youth minister Joe Truett. Her career started as a backup dancer for her sister Jessica Simpson. She then pursued a musical career, releasing her debut album in 2004 with Autobiography.
Her single “Pieces of Me” became an instant hit in the United States. She next released her second album titled I Am Me, spawning the songs “Boyfriend”, “L.O.V.E.” and “Invisible”. She also ventured into acting, making her film debut with 2005’s Undiscovered.
Has Ashlee Simpson had Plastic Surgery?
Aside from some of her popular songs and for being the baby sister of Jessica Simpson, Ashlee is also well known for being an example of a good plastic surgery, courtesy of her new nose, though she has since denied she had her nose transformed.
But people are not so easily convinced. Ever since her large Roman nose, which was a prominent feature, suddenly became narrower and straighter, people got critical of her appearance, insisting she went under the knife to achieve such seemingly flawless result.
Her father, Joe, kind of confirmed the reports for her, saying “Girls have their own ideas. Anyway, there was a real problem with her breathing and that was cured.” People considered her dad’s statement as an admission to Simpson undergoing rhinoplasty even though he didn’t really specify what exactly the procedure was that her daughter had. Still, most people think it was a nose job.
