Brooke Shields was born on May 31, 1965 in Manhattan, New York City. She began her career as a child model, later moving into film with her debut in 1976’s Alice, Sweet Alice. She then made her breakthrough at age 12 when she played the lead in 1978’s Pretty Baby.
She continued to gain recognition in the 1980s for her roles in such films as The Blue Lagoon, Endless Love and Sahara. She then left her career in the show business to attend Princeton University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in French literature. On TV, she’s known as the title character in Suddenly Susan.
Has Brooke Shields had Plastic Surgery?
Brooke Shields has been in the show business since she was a child and now that she’s 49, most people believe she still looks good for her age. In her previous interviews, the Endless Love actress admitted to having Botox before but revealed she didn’t like the result and has since sworn off other cosmetic procedures. She is, however, still considering laser treatments as a remedy to eliminate her wrinkles, saying: I want laser treatment because I’m not a fan of my wrinkles.” She added: “But I have to find someone with a light touch. I’m scared I’ll end up looking like the Joker.”
Interestingly, Shields could not be as unfamiliar to plastic surgery as she claims to be as there have been rumors that she has had a nose job early in her career to achieve a perfectly straight nose with a perfect tip, contributing to her notably beautiful face. Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer also thinks Shields could have had a nose job before, saying: “Her nose looks extremely straight and narrow. Makeup may have helped her achieve this look, but I am more inclined to say it was from a Rhinoplasty.”
