Eddie Redmayne was born on January 6, 1982 in London, United Kingdom. It was in the early 2000s that he began his acting career in theatre and television. In 2006, he made his theatrical debut in the movie Like Minds and has since acted in such films as The Good Shepherd, Savage Grace, Elizabeth: The Golden Age, and The Other Boleyn Girl, among others.
In 2011, he gained further recognition for his portrayal of Colin Clark in My Week with Marilyn, followed by another strong performance in 2012’s Les Misérables. Two years later, he found greater fame after being chosen to play Stephen Hawking in 2012’s The Theory of Everything, for which he won an Academy Award for Best Actor. His most recent film is 2015’s Jupiter Ascending.
Has Eddie Redmayne had Plastic Surgery?
33-year-old Eddie Redmayne has achieved so much as an actor despite being in his early 30s. Thanks to his formidable portrayal of theoretical physicist and cosmologist Stephen Hawking, Redmayne is now considered one of Hollywood’s high-caliber performers. As he earns his own spotlight, he becomes a more interesting subject such that of plastic surgery. Naturally, gone are the days that only women are subjected to rumors of cosmetic procedures as males in the industry do it as much as women do.
So, could Eddie Redmayne have plastic surgery? Not at this point. As mentioned, he’s young and doesn’t need any reason to go under the knife. His face looks very natural with his freckles making him more remarkable. Suffice to say, the award-winning actor seems to be taking the natural path, at least thus far. Actors always consider such possibilities at one point in their life, let’s wait for the English actor to consider his in the future, although it seems unlikely as Redmayne seems to value his natural self for a more effective acting capability.
