Jennette McCurdy was born on June 26, 1992 in Long Beach, California. Seeing Harrison Ford in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, McCurdy developed an interest in acting, which she eventually pursued, making her debut when she was eight on MADtv. She made her film debut in 2001’s Shadow Fury.
After appearing on various TV shows such as Malcolm in the Middle, Medium, Judging Amy, and Zoey 101, among others, she rose to mainstream recognition after landing the lead role, Samantha “Sam” Puckett / Melanie Puckett, in Nickelodeon’s iCarly. On film, she has appeared in Hollywood Homicide, Breaking Dawn, Tiger Cruise and Minor Details.
Has Jennette McCurdy had Plastic Surgery?
Jennette McCurdy may just be in her early 20s but even the actress can be susceptible to claims of surgical enhancements. Rising to stardom for her starring role on iCarly, McCurdy surely has a promising career ahead of her. But even in the beginning of her success, the 22-year-old actress is being suspected of going under the knife by some viewers. This is probably because of the young star’s changing looks since 2007 when she first appeared on iCarly, particularly her nose.
However, most viewers believe that McCurdy hasn’t gone under the knife. Though there have been actresses who have had procedures done in their early 20s, McCurdy’s transformation is most probably just a matter of fabulous make-up and styling. Plus, she was just 15 back then so naturally she’s just growing up. Her young age allows her face and body to further develop. Thus, it’s best for McCurdy to stay the way she is as plastic surgery might not benefit her as of this time.
