Julia Karin Ormond was born on January 4, 1965 in Epsom, Surrey, England. Her professional acting career began in 1989 with her debut in the miniseries Traffik, followed by guest roles in the TV shows Capital City and Ruth Rendell Mysteries. She then made her film debut in 1993’s The Baby of Mâcon.
She gained mainstream recognition when she played Susannah in 1994’s Legends of the Fall, followed by prominent roles in 1995’s First Knight and Sabrina. She has since starred in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, among others. Since 2013, she has played Joanna Beauchamp in Witches of East End.
Has Julia Ormond had Plastic Surgery?
In the 1990s, Julia Ormond was the next big thing and was even hailed as the next Julia Roberts, leading huge movies along with Hollywood’s biggest actors in the films Legends of the Fall, First Knight and Sabrina. Then just as her fame had happened so quickly, so was its demise. After the said three films, Ormond starred in less well-known movies, only making her comeback in 2008’s The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
But as she makes her way back to Hollywood, rumors of plastic surgery lurks behind. Some reports claim that the 49-year-old actress has undergone a rhinoplasty procedure that didn’t go well. She reportedly has had the cartilage on the tip of her nose removed but the surgery didn’t achieve the desired result. Instead, it left a jagged and uneven mark on her nose. As to aging, Ormond may not be into Botox and other anti-aging treatments as her face clearly has wrinkles and lines.
