Has Kajol had Plastic Surgery?
Kajol has won several accolades that the Government of India presented her with the fourth highest civilian award of the country, the Padma Shri. Despite having proven her great acting chops, Kajol still wasn’t able to escape rumors of plastic surgery. Reports of the star undergoing a nose job is rampant in India and despite the actress not confirming the claims, the rumors continue to be strong and persistent. The actress also faced rumors of undergoing a skin melanin surgery after she stepped out looking fairer than her usual dark skin tone.
Kajol, however, also denied the reports, attributing her changed look to lifestyle changes. In an interview, she said: “I have not undergone any skin whitening surgery. I have just stayed out of the sun! For 10 years of my life, I was working all the time under the sun, which is why I got tanned! And now I am not working in the sun anymore. So I’ve got untanned! It’s not a skin whitening surgery, it’s a stay at home surgery.”
