Katharine Hope McPhee was born on March 25, 1984 in Los Angeles, California. She first came to prominence as a contestant for American Idol’s fifth season, becoming the show’s runner-up. A musical career followed, releasing her self-titled debut in January 2007 with the songs “Over It” and “Unbroken”.
She later ventured into acting, landing roles in such feature films as The House Bunny (2008), You May Not Kiss the Bride (2011), and Shark Night 3D (2011). She then became known for her lead role, playing Karen Cartwright in the musical drama series Smash.
Has Katharine McPhee had Plastic Surgery?
Following her American Idol days, McPhee can now be considered a true star, appearing both on television and the big screen. She is that certified of a star that she wasn’t able to escape onlookers’ questioning look when she was spotted at a New York fashion week event a few years back with a more prominent set of breasts. During her stint on American Idol, McPhee could be considered as someone with an average cup size, not so small and not so huge.
But recently, people could easily say that her breasts have grown huge and since she’s already 30, it’s fair to say that this change is not something natural. Experts have stepped in to share their professional opinion with Dr. Jennifer Walden saying that although the actress-singer’s breasts have become bigger, she couldn’t say for sure if this change is a result of plastic surgery. She concluded by saying that if ever McPhee had plastic surgery, it was a good one.
