Born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, professionally known as Lady Gaga, was born on March 28, 1986 in New York City to internet entrepreneur Joseph Anthony Germanotta, Jr. and Cynthia Louise Bissett. In college, she was accepted for the Collaborative Arts Project 21 (CAP21) New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
After withdrawing from CAP21, she concentrated on her musical career and released her debut album The Fame in 2008 with its hit single “Just Dance”. She has since released other albums such as The Fame Monster (2009), Born This Way (2011) and Artpop (2013). She went on to venture into acting, beginning with her debut in 2013’s Machete Kills.
Has Lady Gaga had Plastic Surgery?
Lady Gaga has never had plastic surgery. That’s what the singer said in a 2011 interview with Harper’s Bazaar. She explained that while she knows many pop stars have had cosmetic procedures at some point in their careers, she definitely hasn’t had anything done.
She explained: “I think promoting insecurity in the form of plastic surgery is infinitely more harmful than an artistic expression related to body modification.” Despite her statement, rumors of a nose job continued to grow after she appeared in a Gay Pride event with her nose looking distinctively slimmer and smaller.
Observers noted that Gaga’s nose before the alleged surgery was bigger and wider. Fans, however, argued that the Born This Way singer’s seemingly different nose could just be a result of heavy make-up, which she always have, and could also be attributed to lighting.
