Has Lily Allen had Plastic Surgery?

The 32-year-old actress said “nobody’s immune to the pressure to look thin.” The opening scene for her music video for the song “Hard Out Here” shows her lying on an operating table. She went on to reveal that this was actually inspired after she had considered having a plastic surgery after the birth of her first daughter in 2011. She had actually visited a plastic surgeon. There, she was told that she needed to “reshape her thighs, bum, knees, back and stomach.”

When she got pregnant again with her second daughter, this plan to have plastic surgery got cancelled. The message of said music video was also about the industry’s expectation of women to be physically desirable, thus leaner. She said: “The video is meant to be a lighthearted satirical video that deals with objectification of women within modern pop culture.” She also revealed of her own insecurities, saying: “If I was a little braver, I would have been wearing a bikini too, but I do not and I have chronic cellulite, which nobody wants to see.”
