Margaret Ruth “Maggie” Gyllenhaal was born on November 16, 1977 in New York City. She made her film debut with Waterland at the age of 15, followed by A Dangerous Woman and Homegrown, which were all directed by her father Stephen Gyllenhaal.
Her breakout role was in the 2002 black comedy film Secretary, for which she gained critical acclaim. She has since starred in other prominent films such as Mona Lisa Smile, Stranger than Fiction, Sherrybaby and World Trade Center. She achieved international stardom as Rachel Dawes in The Dark Knight.
Has Maggie Gyllenhaal had Plastic Surgery?
She might have said on her official bio that she grew up in a family “that valued education, intellect and liberal politics over plastic surgery” but that doesn’t make her an exception to plastic surgery rumors, especially if she was seen going to a plastic surgeon’s office in Beverly Hills.
Following this, she stepped out with a new look with distinctively bigger eyes and a slimmer chin. The transformation instigated reports of an eyelid surgery and a chin reduction, which totally contradicted her stance against cosmetic operations. In addition, it’s also been said that her flawless and wrinkle-free face is the result of regular Botox injections and chemical peel.
