Mariah Carey was born on March 27, 1970 in Huntington, New York. She rose to fame following the release of her debut studio album Mariah Carey in 1990. She continued achieving mainstream success with her subsequent albums Emotions (1991), Music Box (1993), Merry Christmas (1994), Daydream (1995) and Butterfly (1997).
She then made her feature film debut in 2001’s Glitter. After an unsuccessful recording period, she made her comeback with the 2005 album Emancipation of Mimi, with its hit single “We Belong Together”. She once again tried for a film career in 2009’s Precious, but this time her acting was well-received.
Has Mariah Carey had Plastic Surgery?
Mariah Carey has not only found fame and success as a recording artist, she has also found herself in the middle of various plastic surgery rumors. First, it was reported that the singer has had a rhinoplasty procedure to refine her nose’s appearance. Carey’s original nose was said to be wider, especially at the bridge but after the alleged surgery, her nose became narrower, sharper and more well-defined. Second, the singer received significant claims about undergoing a breast augmentation procedure.
It’s not a secret that Carey likes to flaunt her cleavage in most of her public appearances so this exposure has somehow led people to suspect that her huge breasts are a result of going under the knife as her cup size was reportedly smaller before. Now that she’s in her 40s, Carey faces more rumors of cosmetic procedures such as Botox and fillers to keep her looking young. The singer, however, hasn’t admitted to any of these rumors.
