Noomi Rapace was born on December 28, 1979 in Hudiksvall, Sweden. She began acting at a young age after she and her mother moved to Iceland, making her debut in 1988’s In the Shadow of the Raven. She left home at age 15 and enrolled in a theatre school in Stockholm. She then made her TV debut in the Swedish TV show Tre kronor.
After appearing in some Swedish films, she gained her breakthrough when she secured the role of Lisbeth Salander in 2009’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. She then came to international recognition when she starred in Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows and Prometheus.
Has Noomi Rapace had Plastic Surgery?
The fierce Swedish actress has recently achieved popularity abroad, thanks to her notable performances in the Swedish film adaptations of the Millennium series. But the closer and the more comfy she gets towards Hollywood life, the more vulnerable she becomes to plastic surgery rumors. As everyone knows, plastic surgery is around every corner in Tinseltown and it may be possible that the Swedish beauty finally gave in.
Rumor has it that the 34-year-old actress has had cheek implants. Before her growing popularity, the Swedish star’s cheeks were noticeably hollow and sharp, which gave her a deeper and serious facial register. However, it has been recently witnessed that Rapace’s hollow and sharp cheeks are now a history as she has gone under the knife to make them fuller. Experts believe that this change cannot be attributed to weight and is more likely a result of a surgical enhancement.
