Paz Campos Trigo was born on January 2, 1976 in Seville, Andalusia, Spain. She decided she wanted to become an actress at age 15 after seeing Federico García Lorca’s La casa de Bernarda Alba. She was then accepted at Centro Andaluz de Teatro stage school. She later studied journalism and moved to Madrid.
She started her acting career in the late 1990s and later rose to fame in Spain for her role in the sitcom 7 Vidas. She then starred in 2001’s Sex and Lucia, which gained her wider recognition and achieved further stardom for her role in 2004’s Spanglish.
Has Paz Vega had Plastic Surgery?
The Spanish beauty is two years shy of 40 and people are already wondering if the actress has already had plastic surgery to conceal signs of aging. Experts are claiming that aging has already taken its toll as Vega’s appearance is experiencing a dramatic change since her television debut fifteen years ago. Prestigious plastic surgeon Dr. Roger Amar said that the Spanglish actress has lost a lot of facial volume, though this somehow favors the celebrity as her facial volume during her younger years made it hard to distinguish her cheeks from her cheekbones.
Experts claim that the primary culprit in Vega’s transformed appearance is not plastic surgery but the erosion of internal bone structure, which normally causes aging in women. This condition also answers why Vega’s cheekbones have lost depth and changed the projection of her eyes. However, experts also added that though these are signs of aging, they can still make someone very attractive. Paz Vega surely still is.
