Phoebe Tonkin was born on July 12, 1989 in Sydney, Australia. Her acting career began in the mid 2000s after landing the lead role of Cleo in the Australian show H2O: Just Add Water. She simultaneously appeared as Lexi in Packed to the Rafters. Continuing her success on Australian television, she played the recurring role of Adrian in Home and Away.
In 2011, she made her American debut on the television series The Secret Circle, playing the role of Faye Chamberlain. The show, however, was short-lived. She gained further recognition among worldwide viewers for her recurring role in The Vampire Diaries as Hayley, which she later reprised in the spin-off The Originals, in which she plays one of the leads. As a film actress, she made her big screen debut in the 2010 Australian movie Tomorrow, When the War Began, followed by Bait 3D.
Has Phoebe Tonkin had Plastic Surgery?
The Australian actress is now getting more and more popular among worldwide audiences, thanks to her remarkable role in The Vampire Diaries and its spin-off The Originals. As she becomes a familiar face, especially among teenage audiences, questions of cosmetic surgeries start to surface. Compared to her previous appearance back when she was still in her native Australia, Tonkin’s face now has gone mature and more sophisticated. Her features have also become sharper. Because of the said changes, some are wondering if the 26-year-old actress has undergone cosmetic procedures to achieve her now glamorous and more refined look.
A nose job, perhaps? After all, a rhinoplasty procedure always change the overall appearance of its recipient. On the other hand, Tonkin is kind of young for such an invasive procedure, although age is no longer an issue when it comes to plastic surgery as many young women choose to go under the knife. It can also be because Tonkin’s tastes in make-up and fashion have changed, giving us the illusion that her overall physicality has also changed. What do you think? Is Phoebe Tonkin a natural beauty or does she have a plastic surgeon to thank for?
