Elizabeth Stamatina “Tina” Fey was born on May 18, 1970 in Upper Darby Township, Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Virginia where she graduated with a BA degree in drama. She first performed with the improvisational comedy troupe The Second City before landing her big break as SNL’s writer, later becoming its head writer.
She then began performing sketches in the show, gaining her mainstream recognition. She next created and starred in the critically acclaimed comedy series 30 Rock. On the big screen, she’s known for her roles in Mean Girls, Baby Mama, Date Night, and Muppets Most Wanted.
Has Tina Fey had Plastic Surgery?
The award-winning actress and writer has certainly come a long way from just loving comedy to being one of the greatest comedic writers and actresses on television and film. Because of her success in the show business, the 30 Rock star becomes more vulnerable to plastic surgery rumors that she may have undergone some time over the course of her entertainment career.
Admitting in one of her past interviews that she decided to go on dieting after watching herself on TV for the first time in 1998 proves that Fey wanted to change herself the natural way. In an interview with Esquire, she also shared how she doesn’t consider going under the knife in the present or in the future, saying that the only options she’s got is to either get old and look creepy, and she chooses the former.
