Heidi Blair Montag was born on September 15, 1986 in Crested Butte, Colorado. She first gained recognition upon being cast in the MTV reality TV series The Hills. After this, she appeared in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’s second season.

She then attempted a career in music with the release of her debut album Superficial, which failed critically and commercially. She continued appearing in reality television by competing in the eleventh series of the British version of Celebrity Big Brother.

Montag sparked controversies after it was reported that she underwent ten cosmetic operations in just a day. In an interview with People magazine, the reality star confessed to having a brow lift, a nose job and two breast enlargements. She also had her ears pinned, chin shaved, back scooped out, fat injected into her cheekbones, had liposuction on her inner and outer thighs and had botox on her forehead and frown area.

All these in one day! When asked about her decision to undergo extensive surgeries, she reasoned that she needed them to feel confident. However, Montag has since regretted her decision, pointing out that her doctor failed to fully explain to her the pain and the recovery that she had to endure during the procedures and the recovery period.
