Ashley Judd was born on April 19, 1968 in Granada Hills, California. She attended the University of Kentucky, where she majored in French. After college, she moved to Hollywood to study acting with Robert Carnegie at Playhouse West. She then began her professional acting career in 1991 when she appeared in Star Trek: The Next Generation.
She then rose to stardom for her role in 1993’s Ruby in Paradise and received acclaim for her roles in the 1995 films Heat and Smoke. She went to achieve mainstream fame for roles in Kiss the Girls and Double Jeopardy, among others. She recently played the lead role in the TV series Missing in 2012.
Has Ashley Judd had Plastic Surgery?
The 46-year-old actress has been slammed by plastic surgery reports many times already, starting with being accused of having something done because she looked “puffy” than usual. She explained it was the result of medication to help her with some health problems. When people thought she was flawless despite being in her 40s, she was also rumored to be undergoing some cosmetic enhancements as well. In 2012, she was then accused of being a victim of bad plastic surgery when observers thought she looked different than she did years ago.
The Double Jeopardy actress ignored all the reports until 2012, when she finally broke her silence, apparently angered and saddened by such reports, which aim to objectify women by analyzing how they look. In an article she wrote, she said: “That the conversation about my face was initially promulgated largely by women is a sad and disturbing fact.” She then added: “Who makes the fantastic leap from being sick, or gaining some weight over the winter, to a conclusion of plastic surgery?”
