Demi Moore was born on November 11, 1962 in Roswell, New Mexico. She dropped out of high school when she was 16 to pursue a career in acting. After making her film debut with 1981’s Choices, she became known for her role as Jackie Templeton in the TV series General Hospital.

She subsequently gained attention for her roles in Blame It on Rio (1984) and St. Elmo’s Fire (1985). She received further fame for her work in About Last Night… (1986) and achieved international stardom for her role in 1990’s Ghost.

Moore did not only created buzz for her career and relationships, she also gained notoriety for her endeavors with plastic surgery. It was reported that the Ghost actress underwent several cosmetic procedures to make a comeback on the big screen.

For her role in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, she had breast implants, collagen injections and liposuction on her hips, thighs and stomach. She also underwent an expensive procedure to lift the sagging skin on her knees. All these operations had seemed to achieve its purpose because her scene in the film wearing a skimpy bikini attracted attention.

This huge decision was made due to the actress’ wanting to score big films in an attempt to revive her career. She also blamed Hollywood for giving limited opportunities to those ageing women, prompting them to go as far as plastic surgery to have work.
