John Joseph Travolta was born on February 18, 1954 in Englewood, New Jersey. He made his screen debut in the TV series Emergency! and made his first significant film role as Billy Nolan in 1976’s Carrie.
In the late 1970s, he gained international stardom for his roles in Saturday Night Fever and Grease. He has since starred in other prominent films like Look Who’s Talking, Pulp Fiction, Get Shorty, Face/Off and many others.
Has John Travolta had Plastic Surgery?
The 60-year-old actor has been reported to succumb to plastic surgery to interfere with his ageing. Just recently, Travolta was criticized at the 2014 Oscars for his plastic-like appearance, which probably everyone attributed to cosmetic procedures particularly face lift. His new appearance became so notorious that it generated really lots of tweets, negative ones.
The actor, however, denied these allegations but people are not just buying it. The way his face looks pulled very tightly is not natural so there must be something that he has had undergone to give him such effect. Surely, his boyish charm that helped him establish as an iconic actor in the 1970s is now long gone, not because he’s ageing but because he visited a plastic surgeon’s clinic for a fountain-of-youth-like procedure that didn’t deliver good results.
