Minissha Lamba was born on January 18, 1985 in New Delhi, India. She attended Miranda House at the University of Delhi, where she majored in English. During her time in the university, she began working as a model. While shooting an ad for Cadbury, she was offered a role in Shoojit Sircar’s 2005 film Yahaan.
She has since appeared in other films, including Corporate, Rocky: The Rebel, Anthony Kaun Hai, Dus Kahaniyaan and Dus Kahaniyaan. She then gained wider fame for her portrayal of Mahi in 2008’s Bachna Ae Haseeno and achieved critical praise for her role in 2010’s Well Done Abba.
