Ryan Phillippe Plastic Surgery Before and After

Ryan Phillippe was born on September 10, 1974 in New Castle, Delaware, United States. His professional acting career started after being cast for the role of Billy Douglas in the soap opera One Life to Live from 1992 to 1993. He then gained recognition in the mid to late 1990s for roles on the big screen, such as I Know What You Did Last Summer and Cruel Intentions.

In the 2000s, he continued his prolific career with roles in such feature films as Gosford Park, Crash, Flags of Our Fathers, Chaos, and Stop-Loss. His most recent work as a film actor was 2014’s independent film Reclaim. He has also returned acting on television, first playing Channing McClaren in Damages. He now plays the lead role, Ben Crawford, in Secrets and Lies.

Has Ryan Phillippe had Plastic Surgery?

The actor is already in his 40s, but most will agree that it feels like it is still the 90s just by looking at him. Clearly, Reese Witherspoon‘s former husband is one of the handsome men in Hollywood who looks the same just as we saw him decades ago. Because of this, people are baffled as to why the Cruel Intentions star doesn’t significantly age compared to his contemporaries. His recent role in Secrets and Lies, in which he plays a father to two daughters, makes him look like a bad choice for the role, not because he doesn’t know how to act, but because he doesn’t look like a dad to a teenager and a little girl at all (though he is a father to two teenagers with Reese Witherspoon in real life).

Because of this, fans and critics alike have wondered if Phillippe has had some sort of cosmetic procedures to help him with his very youthful look. There have been even online polls about such possibility, with 50% believing he’s had plastic surgery. However, while it is true that the actor still looks pretty much the same, the same thing cannot be said to how he really looks in the present. If checked closely, Phillippe has lines on his face, though not prominent enough. He has also looked a bit more masculine compared to his previous cute-faced appearance, probably because his cheeks have become more hollow-looking, a clear indication that he’s not invincible to ageing.
