Vanessa Chantal Paradis was born on December 22, 1972 in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, Val-de-Marne, France. She became a prominent singer at the age of 14 when her single “Joe le taxi” became a worldwide hit. She has since released other albums such as Variations sur le même t’aime (1990) and Vanessa Paradis (1992).
As an actress, she has appeared in the French films Noce Blanche, Witch Way Love, Une chance sur deux, Girl on the Bridge and Café de Flore, among others. She recently starred in the 2013 American film Fading Gigolo. She’s also known as a spokesmodel for Chanel since 1991.
Has Vanessa Paradis had Plastic Surgery?
In the United States, Paradis is mostly known as Johnny Depp’s long-time partner and mother of his kids, until 2012 when they separated with Depp currently engaged to much younger actress Amber Heard. Despite this, most people are still team Vanessa as many see her as unique and genuinely beautiful. At 41, she still has this coolness and charm that made her a star. She also is still a prolific artist; making music, acting and modeling. As to aging, Paradis made it clear that she has no plans in tainting her natural beauty with plastic surgery.
In an interview for Harper’s Bazaar US, the French beauty said about plastic surgery: “I don’t work in America, so I don’t feel the pressure.” Paradis apparently doesn’t want to change something about herself as she even didn’t do anything about her notoriously gapped teeth. When asked about why she doesn’t want them fixed, she said: “Why would I fix them? I was born with them. I can spit water through them. They’re useful!” Kudos to the 41-year-old star for looking just the way she is!
