Benjamin Géza Affleck-Boldt, commonly known as Ben Affleck, was born on August 15, 1972 in Berkeley, California, US. He had attended University of Vermont and Occidental College though he didn’t really finish any degrees. Initially beginning his career as a child actor, he first gained notice for his role in 1997’s Chasing Amy before rising to worldwide fame for co-writing Good Will Hunting, which won him and friend Matt Damon the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.
