After appearing in some TV shows and TV movies, she made her breakthrough in 1983 as Bond girl Domino Petachi in Never Say Never Again.

This led her to greater film successes, including 1984’s The Natural, 1986’s 9½ Weeks, and 1987’s Nadine. She achieved further fame as Vicki Vale in 1989’s Batman. She then gained critical acclaim for her role in 1997’s L.A. Confidential, for which she won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.

She hasn’t had one treatment done because she’s stayed completely out of the sun all these years!” The Daily Mail also reported that instead of turning to plastic surgery to help her maintain her youthful glow, Basinger relies on collagen therapy gel to help plump up fine lines.
