Lea Michele Sarfati was born on August 29, 1986 in The Bronx, New York. As a performer, she made her Broadway debut in 1995 as Young Cosette in Les Misérables. She then played the role of Wendla Bergmann in Spring Awakening, which gained her a Drama Desk Award nomination.

She then achieved international stardom after being cast as Rachel Berry in Glee, which earned her various awards and nominations. She also ventured into film, starring in 2011’s New Year’s Eve. As a singer, she has released her debut single “Cannonball” in December 2013.

The 27-year-old actress known for her role as Rachel in Glee is accused of going under the knife. This has got to be one of the repercussions for achieving fame. Despite the allegations thrown at her, Michele said she’s never have plastic surgery, although there was an occasion wherein a talent manager asked her to have a nose job so she could start working.

When asked if she might consider plastic surgery in the future, her answer is no. Her primary reason is her singing voice, which would be affected if she would undergo a cosmetic procedure. She also clarified that although she’s not keen in having any cosmetic surgery, she has no problems with people who decide to have something done on their face and body.
