Linda Carroll Hamilton was born on September 26, 1956 in Salisbury, Maryland. She attended Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland for two years before taking acting classes with Lee Strasberg in New York. Her acting career began in 1980 in the TV series Shirley. She later gained notice on TV for her role in Secrets of Midland Heights.
She then made her film debut in 1982’s Tag: The Assassination Game and made her breakthrough as Sarah Connor in 1984’s The Terminator. From 1987 to 1989, she portrayed Catherine Chandler in Beauty and the Beast. She reprised her role as Sarah in 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
Has Linda Hamilton had Plastic Surgery?
Unlike other actors in Hollywood who suspiciously appear younger than their actual age, Linda Hamilton is quite the opposite as people think the original female action star is prematurely aging. She’s only in her 50s and onlookers think she’s older than that. When spotted in a film shoot back in 2008, most were shocked at how aged she looked as she was only 51 at that time.
Her face, almost covered with wrinkles and lines, could somehow imply that Hamilton has never had any cosmetic enhancements to try stop those signs from appearing. According to reports, Hamilton’s premature aging is caused by heavy-tanning and prolonged smoking habit. These habits are said to have made her age so quickly despite her younger years.
