Amy Lysle Smart was born on March 26, 1976 in Topanga, California. She studied ballet for ten years and first worked as a model before becoming an actress. She made her film debut in 1997’s High Voltage and played minor roles in Starship Troopers and Strangeland before gaining recognition in 1999’s Varsity Blues.
